The Aaronia GPS Logger includes a total of 6 sensors, all of them on the cutting edge of technology, making it the world’s first stand-alone multi-axis data logger. Additionally, the very small form factor, added with an extremely high data rate of approx. 35 logs/second (freely adjustable) is unmatched in the industry. The logger with battery weighs just 88 grams and fits in the palm of your hand. The original intent of the GPS logger was for recording/logging the coordinates and orientation of the Aaronia antennas (HyperLOG X, HyperLOG EMI or Magnotracker series). But the Aaronia GPS-Logger has become popular in its own right for a variety of non-RF applications.

The GPS sensor allows for easy collection and documentation of your position and elevation. Even more interesting is the Tilt-sensor and the digital compass, capturing the inclination and orientation of the antenna during the measurement process. If using the GPS-Logger for RF measurements, these special features allow you to easily create an “RF heat map” including frequency, direction and strength of an RF source within 360 degree perspective.

With 35 complete logs/captures per second including all sensor data (on microSDCard and/or USB-Streaming) plus the “real time” display of orientation, the data capture possibilities are endless. The maximum usable microSD volume is 2GB, offering a maximum recording time of about 2 days at full speed on the microSD card. The data rate can be adjusted lower to allow for weeks or even months of logging time.
